Seventeen People

Catharsis is a weird thing. For a long time, I'd found it in an episode of The West Wing's second season. No matter what undesired mood I found myself in, watching Seventeen People would reset me. Once I bought the DVDs, this recourse was effectively free, and eminently repeatable. And so I watched. And watched. Eventually, it hit me that other people might get some catharsis out of this, too. So I started doodling.

Wouldn’t stop for red lights, etc., etc.

One tiny part of the process. (See the rest here.)

Hell of a cold open.

The Amendment that almost was.

From 2010 to 2015, I was a lead designer and front-end developer for PBS KIDS Digital and NPR’s Southern California Public Radio (KPCC).

In addition, I occasionally produce my own civic-educational pieces.
