Version 4: Underway
June 26th, 2008
Since launching this version of the site, a lot’s happened: my creative leanings have forked, I’ve moved to DC, and I’ve learned so much more about what Wordpress can do. I think these will all be better reflected and served in V.4, due this summer.

Love and gratitude (even more than usual) at the folks at We Love Wordpress for highlighting my work on Doug’s site this past weekend. Thanks!

So this one I’m really excited about — both for the result itself, and the fact that it was my first “real,” gritty dig into what WordPress can do when it’s backing a whole site (unlike here, where it’s just a big RSS machine). Check it out, and I’ll try to use my new WP/PHP evangelism for good.
Indiana University CD
December 2nd, 2007
It’s been a busy summer, and one of the projects I’ve enjoyed the most will soon be added to the online portfolio — an interactive CD-ROM for the Indiana University Press, which accompanies a new paleontology textbook. Fun!
Campaign Site Launch

The University of St. Thomas has just launched a new $500 million capital campaign, and its site was HTML’d, CSS’d, and co-designed by yours truly. Check it out!
Professor White?

Well, it’s official; I’m privileged to be teaching a couple asynchronous, 5-week, 1-credit online courses through MCAD’s Distance Learning this fall, Beginning HTML and Beginning CSS. Should be fun!
Three generations later…
May 30th, 2007
Clearly, things have gone through some pretty intense renovation recently, and I’m so happy to finally release version 3.0 of this site to the world. Like it’s predecessor it’s completely CSS-powered, but this time it’s also being fed by PHP and has a shiny new RSS feed being spit out courtesy of the WordPress engine I finally caved in and installed on the server. The most important change, though, has been editorial, as I’ve significantly pared down the number of works to just focus on the educational goodies. I’d like to think this iteration will last my interest and patience at least long enough to churn out some fun things in the meantime…
